As the number of claims keeps increasing, customers are sometimes confused and do not have the tools to know the reality beyond what appears on the packaging.
Considering that there is no international regulation for most of these claims, how can we manage these projects? Who’s who when it comes to natural fragrances? And are natural fragrances the answer to the consumers’ requests?
In this presentation, Mrs Ripoll will clarify general concepts and review some of the norms such as ISO16128, limitations (allergens, CMR) and private standards (COSMOS). She will also explain how perfumers, together with the commercial and regulatory teams, deal with these concepts from the perspective of a fragrance manufacturer.
